Moniteau Boys’ Tough Defense Prevails

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. – Moniteau used a second-half rally complete with strong defense to take down Riverside, 54-43, on Wednesday night.

Moniteau trailed 25-22 going into the second half but held Riverside to 18 second-half points to pull ahead and snag the win. Kyle Pry led the way for the Warriors, scoring 19 points to go along with six steals and six assists. Tanner Williams also hit double figures, scoring 11 in the win. Sam Hughes led Riverside with 11 points.

The Warriors advance to 4-5 with the victory. They will next travel to face North Clarion on January 29.
