DUBOIS, Pa. – Behind a pair of goals and an assist from Todd Smith, Bradford claimed its fourth straight District 9 Class A soccer title with a 3-1 win over Punxsutawney Wednesday night at DuBois High School.
Alex Kelly also scored for the Owls, who got five saves from Jack Kellam.
Josh Godo tallied Punxsy lone score, while Joel Triponey made four saves for the Chucks.
Bradford now advances to the PIAA playoffs where it will play the loser of the WPIAL championship game between South Fayette and Mars. The first round of the PIAA playoffs is Tuesday.
