Clarion’s Brenna Campbell Named PVCA D9 Class 1A MVP; Class 1A Teams Chosen

CLARION, Pa. – Clarion junior setter Brenna Campbell was named the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association District 9 Class 1A Most Valuable Player, and three Class 1A teams were also chosen.

Three of Campbell’s teammates were first-team selections after helping the Lady Cats to the District 9 title including sophomore outside hitter Korrin Burns, senior outside hitter Kait Constantino and senior Libero KK Girvin.

Joining the three Clarion players on the first team were Elk County Catholic senior outside hitter Taylor Newton, A-C Valley senior setter Emily Wetzel and Cranberry junior middle hitter Ava Ferringer.

A pair of Johnsonburg players highlight the second team including senior middle hitter Jenna Morgan and senior Libero Haylee Cherry.

They are joined on the second team by Clarion middle hitter Maddie Maddie Schill, A-C Valley sophomore outside hitter Meah Ielase, Otto-Eldred junior middle hitter Reilly Raught and Oswayo Valley junior middle hitter Macy West.

The third team is highlighted by a pair of ECC players including senior middle hitter Madyson Dellaquila and senior setter Ellie Feldderman. Joining them are Keystone senior outsider hitter Alyssa Dunlap, Cranberry senior setter Emily Duncan, Oswayo Valley freshman outside hitter Jaydn Brabham and Coudersport junior middle hitter Addie Myers.
