BROOKVILLE — The Brookville Lady Raiders captured their ninth title in 10 years as they grinded out a 41-33 win over Brockway in Tuesday night’s Brookville Christmas Tournament Championship game.
Elaina Powell scored 12 points and Hali Olson finished with 11 pounds to lead the Lady Raiders (7-2). Olson was named tournament MVP and Powell joined her on the All-Tournament team.
Juli Esposito scored 15 points for the Lady Rovers (2-6), who also got eight points and 11 rebounds from Adrianna Terwilliger. Both were all-tournament picks.
In the consolation game, DuBois beat DuBois Central Catholic, 49-45. Taylore Uplinger scored 16 points while all-tourney selection Courtney Chandler finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Dayna DeSalve scored 10 points.
Riley Assalone and Libby Maurer scored 12 and 11 points respectively for DCC. Maurer was named to the all-tournament team.
