Hess second at the PIAA Golf Championships

YORK, Pa. – Keystone senior Amber Hess finished second at the PIAA Class AA girls’ golf championships Tuesday in York.

Hess shot a two-round total of 163 finishing second to Greensburg Central Catholic’s Olivia Zambruno, who shot a two-round score of 153. Hess outpaced Marissa Kirkwood of Neshannock for second place by one stroke.

CLARION’S BISH 16th IN BOYS’ CLASS AA

Shooting a two-round total of 165, Clarion’s Jared Bish tied for 16th in the Class AA boys’ field. Nate Menon of Wyomissing won the title shooting a 146.

BRADFORD’S FAULKNER 26TH IN BOYS’ CLASS AAA

Thanks to a two-round total of 164, Bradford’s Mitch Faulkner tied for 26th in the Class AAA championships. The Class AAA title was won by Steve Cerbara of Holy Ghost Prep.
