OTTO-ELDRED 65, OSWAYO VALLEY 35

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Allison Cousins led a trio of Otto-Eldred players in double figures with 13 points, as the visiting Terrors beat Oswayo Valley, 65-35, in North Tier League action Monday.

Kylie Stuck added 12 points for Otto with Tiffany Bair chipping in 11. Camryn Thomas added nine points and six rebounds for the Terrors, who led 31-16 at halftime.

Bri Siebert paced Oswayo Valley with 11 points with Hope Howard adding seven for the Green Wave.   

COUDERSPORT 45, GALETON 30

GALETON, Pa. – On the strength of a 17-7 second-quarter advantage, Coudersport went on the road and pulled out a 45-30 win over Galeton in North Tier League action Monday.

Haley Keck scored seven of her team-high 16 points in the second quarter for the Lady Falcons, while Bryce Line added 11 tallies and Macy Gleason seven. Ally Easton chipped in six points and five blocked shots.

Makaya Shadle had nine points to lead Galeton, whichfound itself in a 7-7 tie after one quarter, with Cortney Parsell adding eight.

PORT ALLEGANY 61, AUSTIN 16

AUSTIN, Pa. – Autumn Buchsenschutz scored 23 points and added six assists to lead Port Allegany to a 61-16 win at Austin in North Tier League action Monday.

Kendra Pelchy record her first career double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds, and Hannah Lathrop 6 points and 13 rebounds.

Madison Hooftallen led Austin with seven points.  

NORTHERN POTTER 49, CAMERON COUNTY 44

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Kalie Cowburn scored 11 of her game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter to help visiting Northern Potter hold off Cameron County, 49-44, in North Tier League action Monday night.

Gracie Hamilton added 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Lady Panthers, who led 28-26 going to the final quarter before outscoring the Lady Raiders 21-18 in the fourth.

Madi Guisto had 14 points to pace Cameron County with Alyvia McKimm adding 11 points and Amily Schatz nine points and 12 rebounds.  

GLENDALE 55, CURWENSVILLE 47

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Despite having three players reach double digits, homestanding Curwensville dropped a 55-47 decision to Glendale in Moshannon Valley League play Monday night.

Nikki Wormuth led the Lady Tide with 12 points, Shauna Guy added 11 and Christine Limbert 10.

CLARION 50, BROCKWAY 24

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Anna Reed and Jenna Beichner combined to score 23 points to lead visiting Clarion to a 50-24 win over Brockway in non-conference action Monday.

Reed had 13 points and four steals to lead the Lady Cats with Beichner adding 10 points and seven rebounds. Kelly Beveridge added seven points for Clarion.

Leah Lindemuth scored 14 of Brockway’s 24 points.

Clarion led 18-8 at the end of the first quarter and 25-12 at halftime.

RIDGWAY 62, CLARION-LIMESTONE 19

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Emily Fullem scored 20 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, blocked six shots,  came up with five steals and handed out two assists to lead Ridgway to a 62-19 win over visiting Clarion-Limestone Monday.

Jessica Kifer chipped in 12 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and two assists for the Lady Elkers, who also got nine points from Kiersten Hinton and 11 from Hannah Park.

Paige Aaron scored 11 and Maddy Craig four for C-L.

BOYS

CLARION 56, KEYSTONE 52

CLARION, Pa. – Reed Anthony scored seven of his 10 points in the fourth quarter to help Clarion rally past visiting Keystone for a 56-52 non-conference win Monday night.

The Bobcats trailed 38-36 going to the fourth quarter but outscored the Panthers 20-14 in the final eight minutes

Jonathan Smith, back after missing a pair of games last week with a groin injury, led Clarion with a game-high 22 points and 18 rebounds, including 10 points in the first quarter helping the Bobcats to a 19-9 lead at the end of one.

But Keystone fought back in the second quarter outscoring Clarion 17-6 in the second quarter behind eight points from Austin Ion to take a 26-25 halftime lead. Ion finished with a team-high 16 points.

Bo Miller added nine points and nine rebounds and Ty Burford eight rebounds for Clarion, while Mason Rearick and Tanner Wilson each chipped in 11 for Keystone.

VENANGO CATHOLIC 65, UNION 58

OIL CITY, Pa. – Behind 21 points and 11 rebounds from Brady Kingston, Venango Catholic stunned Union, 65-58, in KSAC Crossover play Monday night at VC.

Kingston scored 10 of his points in the middle two quarters helping the Vikings outscored Union 27-19 in the second and third quarters to take a 44-34 lead going to the final eight minutes.

Cole Morris tried to lead the Golden Knights back in the fourth quarter scoring eight of his 12 points in the quarter, and poor Venango Catholic free-throw shooting helped – the Vikings were 9-of-20 in the quarter from the line.

Noah Puleo added 18 points for Venango Catholic with Josh Puleo chipping in 10 points.

Lucas Bowser led Union with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Hank Murphy added 13 points and five assists and Sutton Varner 10 points.

BRADFORD 54, JOHNSONBURG 21

BRADFORD, Pa. – A large second-half advantage led Bradford to a 54-21 win over visiting Johnsonburg in non-conference action Monday night.

The Owls led 16-12 at halftime but outscored the Rams 38-9 in the second half including 18-2 in the third quarter to get the easy win.

Nate Higbie scored seven of his 10 points in the third quarter to help lead the Bradford charge.

John Eakin also scored 10 points while adding 10 rebounds for the well-balanced Owls with Alec Kuzmeskas adding nine points, Deondre Terwilliger eight and Tyler Nuzzo seven points and four rebounds. Terwilliger and Higbie each had four steals with Terwilliger and Andy Pantuso each chipping in two assists.  

Kevin Benson paced Johnsonburg with eight points.

Bradford shot 54.3 percent (19-of-35) for the night while holding Johnsonburg to 25 percent (8-of-32).

BROOKVILLE 70, SHEFFIELD 42

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Behind a career-high 25 points from Jimmy Moore, visiting Brookville rolled past Sheffield, 70-42, in non-conference action Monday.

Moore, who hit five 3-pointers and scored 20 of his points before halftime, added five steals for the Raiders, who also got 13 points, eight steals, five rebounds and four assists from Kurt Schindler and seven points and four steals from Jordan Tosh.  

Drew Higby led Sheffield with 14 points and eight rebounds.

COUDERSPORT 71, SMETHPORT 22

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Behind 19 points from Aaron Wolfinger and 15 from Jared Green, visiting Coudersport rolled past Smethport, 71-22, in North Tier League action Monday night.

Darren Keglovits added 11 points for the Falcons with Derek Keglovits chipping in with nine including a pair of rare four-point plays in the third quarter.

Bobby Pearson led Smethport with seven points.
