Boyer’s basket was the fourth lead change in the final 74 seconds. The Raiders took a 48-47 lead with 49.4 seconds left on Tate Canavan’s 3-point play with Canavan missing the free throw.
Kurt Schindler’s steal led to a one-and-one free throw situation for the Raiders with 29.7 seconds left, but he missed the front end and the Owls answered with Boyer’s game-winner.
The Raiders had a chance to win it at the end. A Schindler missed jumper was picked up by Taite Truman and his potential game-winner from 12 feet bounced off the rim after the final horn sounded.
Andy Pantuso led Owls with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Boyer finished with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Canavan led the Raiders with 16 points and eight rebounds. Schindler and Cudworth each scored 12 points.
