LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Kane graduate D.J. Horton, a sophomore at IUP, was once again named the PSAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Horton broke his own IUP indoor pole vault record Saturday clearing 5.00 meters (16-04.75) at the Kent State Tune Up. He cleared his old record by nearly three inches (16-02), which he set at the 2016 PSAC Indoor Championships. It was an NCAA Division II provisional height and is the best in the PSAC and 15th best in Division II this season. He finished second overall at the meet.
