DUBOIS, Pa. – Lillia and Davan Lion of St. Marys captured the District 9 girls’ tennis doubles title Tuesday with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Punxsutawney’s Abby Gigliotti and Allie Doverspike.

Lilla, a junior, and Davan, a sophomore, beat Punxsutawney’s Camdern Emhoff and Tegan Ludwig (10-1) and Brockway’s Selena Buttery and Megan Pirow (6-1, 6-1) to reach the finals.
Gigliotti and Doverspike topped Elk County Catholic’s Victoria Glatt and Marley Sorg (10-1) and St. Marys’ Lidia Ehrenberger and Brooke Henry (6-2, 6-1) to reach the finals.
