CLARION, Pa. – The KSAC boys’ and girls’ title games live from Clarion University’s Tippin Gym will be featured on Laurel Eye Clinic Friday Night Hoops on exploreClarion.com.
Fans can listen to the game live on exploreClarion.com or by downloading our app for Apple and Android, with the Kerle Tire Pre-Game Show starting at 5:30 p.m. and game time for the girls’ game at 6 p.m. and the boys’ game at 8 p.m.
The girls’ contest features KSAC North champion North Clarion against KSAC South champion Moniteau. This is North Clarion’s second straight appearance in the title game with the She-Wolves losing to Karns City last year. Moniteau is in the title game for the third time but for the first time since 2010 when it lost in overtime to Cranberry. The Lady Warriors also lost to West Forest in 2009.
Moniteau and North Clarion played Jan. 18 at North Clarion with Moniteau winning 52-47.
Over on the boys’ side, Clarion-Limestone is seeking its fourth consecutive title. The Lions topped Union in last year’s game after beating Redbank Valley the previous two years. Keystone returns to the championship game for the first time since 2009 when it beat North Clarion. The Panthers also won the first KSAC Title game in 2007 over Clarion.
C-L and Keystone met Jan. 17 at Keystone with the Lions prevailing 63-48.
