MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The PIAA Sunday released the times and locations for second-round basketball games being held Tuesday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 13, including for the six remaining District 9 teams in the tournament.

Four District 9 teams will be in action Tuesday with a pair of them playing at Armstrong High School in Kittanning and one each at Punxsutawney High School and Slippery Rock University.
Action at Armstrong High School starts at 6 p.m. when District 9 Class 2A runner-up A-C Valley takes on WPIAL champion Our Lady of Sacred Heart (OLSH) in the girls’ second round. It then continues at 7:30 p.m. when District 9 Class 1A third-place finisher Clarion-Limestone plays WPIAL third-place finisher Cornell in the boys’ second round.
At Punxsutawney High School, District 9 Class 2A champion Kane will play WPIAL runner-up Brentwood at 7:30 p.m. in the girls’ second round.
The game at Slippery Rock University will tip-off at 6 p.m. with District 9 Class 1A champion Elk County Catholic battling WPIAL runner-up Vincentian Academy in the boys’ second round.
On Wednesday, a pair of District 9 teams will be in action at DuBois High School in Class 2A boys’ action.
At 6 p.m., District 9 champion Ridgway will take on District 10 runner-up Wilmington, and at 7:30 p.m. District 9 runner-up Coudersport will face District 6 champion, Bishop Guilfoyle.
