ROBERT KETH – JUNIOR – BROOKVILLE

Son of: Beth and Tom Keth
Sports Played: Football, Basketball
Family Members Playing/Played Sports: Nick Keth played football and basketball. Nathan Keth played football, baseball, and did track. Courtney Keth played volleyball and softball.
2018-19 Highlights: Stepped in at quarterback for Raiders after injuries hurt the position and ended up earning first-team D9 League Large School All-Conference honors by going 129 of 224 for 2,103 yards and 22 touchdowns with 12 interceptions. Also made 53 tackles on defense with three interceptions and a sack … In basketball, helped Brookville to the D9 Class 3A title and the D5-9 subregional title and a berth in the PIAA playoffs. Was the fourth-leading scorer on the team averaging 6.5 points per game and averaged 9.7 ppg in the postseason.
Post-High School Plans: He plans to go to college and would like to play sports when he gets there.

Q&A With Robert Keth

D9Sports: What is your favorite sport to participate in and why?
RK: Football because we all love to win and take it seriously when we have to.

D9Sports: What is your favorite memory, moment, game from playing high school sports?
RK: Winning our sub-regional game in basketball last season.

D9Sports: Why do you play high school sports?
RK: This question sets me up to sound cocky so I’m not going to answer it.

D9Sports: Who has had the most influence on your athletic career and why?
RK: My older brothers always pushed me and I wanted to be better than them.

D9Sports: If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be and why?
RK: Put a shot clock in basketball because who doesn’t want one.

D9Sports: If you could be president for a day, what would be the one major thing you would do?
RK: I don’t know anything about politics and my response would not be fit for this.

D9Sports: What is your ideal place to live? County, City, Suburb? Why?
RK: Suburb because it’s between the city and the country so it’s practically both.

D9Sports: What would someone who doesn’t know you be surprised to find out about you?
RK: I love Ariana Grande.

D9Sports: What is your strongest subject in school?
RK: Math

D9Sports: If there was one period in history or one event in history you could go back to, what would it be?
RK: The time that my parents were born so when they talk about things they “had to go through” then I could tell if they’re lying or not.

D9Sports: What question do you wish I would have asked you? And what is the answer to it?
RK: Who my favorite song artist is and that would be Ariana Grande.
