GIRLS’ SOCCER

KARNS CITY 6, BROOKVILLE 1

KARNS CITY, Pa. – McKenna Martin scored twice and assisted on a third goal to lead Karns City to a 6-1 win over visiting Brookville.

Both of Martin’s goals were unassisted and she helped on a tally by Brooke Stahlman. Stahlman added an assist on a goal by Emma Dailey, who also scored twice in the game. Dailey’s other goal was assisted by Alexis Moore.

The Lady Gremlins also got a tally from McKenna Lavella off a feed from Olivia Rumbaugh.

Madison McAninch scored on a penalty kick for Brookville.

KANE 2, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 1

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Kane picked up a 2-1 road win over Elk County Catholic thanks to goals from Macie Johnson and Jessica Buhl.

ECC’s goal came from Kara VanEerden assisted by Gina Carnovale.

CLEARFIELD 7, DUBOIS 0

HYDE, Pa. – Behind an Emma Hipps hat trick, Clearfield rolled past visiting DuBois, 7-0.

Amanda Hazel added a pair of goals and an assist for the Lady Bison while Elle Smith and Riley Ryen also scored. Ryen and Smith each added helpers, and Madison Davis had a pair of helpers.

PORT ALLEGANY 7, KEYSTONE 0

KNOX, Pa. – Four goals from Emma Fox helped visiting Port Allegany to a 7-0 win over Keystone.

Cailey Barnett added a pair of tallies for the Lady Gators, and Olivia Schott also scored.

Brielle Budd recorded the shutout in goal.

REDBANK VALLEY 4, FRANKLIN 2

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Carley Schick and Rhiannon Laughlin each scored twice to lead visiting Redbank Valley to a 4-2 win over Franklin.

Brooke Eberle and Megan Gourley added assists for the Lady Bulldogs.

ERIE MCDOWELL 6, BRADFORD 1

BRADFORD, Pa. – Grace Emanuel and Alayna Wicker combined to score five goals to lead visiting Erie McDowell to a 6-1 win over Bradford.

Regan Johnson scored on a feed from Maddi Cowburn for Bradford.

Mackenzie Lucas made 22 saves in the loss for the Lady Owls.

CURWENSVILLE 3, RIDGWAY 0

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Getting goals from three different players Curwensville shutout Ridgway, 3-0.

Haylee Mullins, Chloe Davis and Breanne Spencer all scored for the Lady Tide while Madison Sheeder had an assist

BOYS’ SOCCER

PORT ALLEGANY 7, KEYSTONE 0

KNOX, Pa. – Shawn McNeil had the hat trick to lead Port Allegany to a 7-0 win at Keystone.

Howie Stuckey, AJ Edgell and Simon Burleson each added a goal and an assist for the Gators while Aidan Emerick also scored and Kai Stauffer added an assist.

Ty Guilds (six saves) and Caden Roys (two saves) combined on the shutout.

Chance Buzzard made seven stops in net for Keystone.

KARNS CITY 4, BROOKVILLE 1

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Behind a pair of Owen Colwell goals Karns City beat visiting Brookville, 4-1.

Nate Rondinelli and Dakota King each added a goal and an assist for the Gremlins.

Nate Boyden got the win in goal making seven saves.

ST. MARYS 9, KANE 0

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Vin Nunez and Matt Palmer each recorded hat tricks to lead St. Marys to a 9-0 win over Kane in the consolation game of the Elk County Tournament.

Jake Meeker added a goal and four assists for the Dutch with Nathan Eckert and Sean Radkowski also scored for St. Marys.

BRADFORD 8, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 1

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Colton Swanson had three goals and two assists to lead Bradford to an 8-1 win over Elk County Catholic in the championship game of the Elk County Tournament.

Jerid Wolmoth added a pair of goals for the Owls while Ian Grady, Isaiah Pingie and Ryan Miller also scored for the Owls.
