STRATTANVILLE, Pa.— Aryana Girvan hammered away 15 kills to lead the Clarion volleyball team to a 25-12, 25-22, 25-16 victory over rival Clarion-Limestone on Thursday evening at C-L.
Girvan also added 11 digs. Hadlee Campbell put away 10 kills with nine service points. Grace Ochs handed out 36 assists while picking up 10 digs. Bri Pierce served for 11 points with three aces while picking up 11 digs.
Senior Kendall Dunn picked up her 1,000th career assist, becoming just the second Clarion-Limestone player to reach that milestone.
Jess O’Donnell collected 1,700 assists in her career at C-L.
“Kendall is a hustler and she’s worked very hard, and she deserves this milestone,” said C-L head coach Ryan Troupe. “It was a bit of a question whether or not she could reach it while being out with the ACL injury. With as much work as she’s put in not only before the injury, but even while she’s had the injury and now that she’s back. She definitely deserves it and I’m very proud of her.”
