Note – This is the third meeting of the year between these teams and the second in two weeks. Last week Kane beat Port Allegany 21-0 in the AML Title game after beating Gators 66-22 Sept. 25 … Kane is seeking its fourth straight trip to a District 9 title game. The Wolves lost in 2012 and 2013 to Karns City in the AA game and beat Brockway in the A game last year.

CLASS AAAA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP (Districts 6-9)

(2) DuBois (5-5) vs. (1) State College (7-3), 7 p.m. Friday at Hollidaysburg High School

Note – This is the second straight year these teams have met in the Regional championship with State College winning 29-7 last year. It is also the fourth time in five years they have met in the postseason. DuBois hasn’t beaten State College since 1996, which is the last time time the Beavers won a postseason game.
