St. Marys’ Romain Defends D9 AA Boys’ Singles Tennis Title

DUBOIS, Pa. – St. Marys’ Jordan Romain defended his District 9 Class AA Boys’ single title Wednesday knocking off Matt Blose of Punxsutawney, 6-0, 6-2.

Romain beat Brockway’s Tyler Foradori, 10-3, in the semifinals Monday to reach Wednesday’s championship match, while Blose defeated Markus Peterson of DuBois Central Catholic, also Monday, in the semifinals.
