BROOKVILLE – A Class A semifinals doubleheader Saturday at DuBois highlights this week’s playoff games involving District 9 teams.
In Class A, defending champion and second-seeded Clarion will take on sixth-seeded Kane at 6 p.m. at DuBois’ Mansell Stadium. That game will be preceded by fifth-seeded Brockway taking on eighth-seeded Union at 1 p.m. also at DuBois.
While Class A is playing Saturday, District 9 teams in Class AA, Class AAA and Class AAAA will all be in action Friday night.
The Class AA championship game between top-seeded and two-time defending champion Karns City and second-seeded St. Marys will be at 7 p.m. at Clarion University’s Memorial Stadium.
In Class AAA, the District 5-6-8-9 sub-regional championship tilt between top-seeded Somerset and second-seeded and defending champion Clearfield will be at 7 p.m. at Richland High School in Johnstown.
Another sub-regional title game will take place in Class AAAA, where the District 6-9 champion will be decided at 7 p.m. at Hollidaysburg when top-seeded DuBois takes on second-seeded and six-time defending champion State College.
