BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Two forfeit wins and two pins helped Brockway topple visiting Brockway, 38-22, in a key midseason District 9 wrestling match Thursday.

The Raiders got wins at 113 pounds from Cayden Walker and 138 pounds from Wyatt Kulik and forfeit victories at heavyweight and 106 pounds to secure the victory.

Walker’s pin was perhaps the biggest of the match, as he trailed Mark Palmer 3-0 in their 113-pound bout before pinning the Rover with 43 seconds left.
Brookville led 22-13 at the time of the pin, which turned out to be a nine-point swing for the Raiders.
Kulik’s pin came 47 seconds into the second period over Jared Fremer.
The Raiders also earned an extra point at 170 pounds when Elliot Park won a 16-5 major decision over Andrew Hickman and at 126 pounds when Parker Fleming took a 10-1 major decision over Garret Park.
Picking up a win for Brockway was Dominic Inzana at 120 pounds over Josh Popson at 25 seconds of the second period.
The Rovers had a major decision of its own at 195 pounds with Garret McClintick winning 14-2 over Nathan Taylor.
Winning decisions for Brookville were Jacob Cale (1-0 over Linkin Nichols) at 152 pounds and Tanner LaBenne (5-1 over Justin Smith) at 220 pounds.
Taking home decisions for Brockway were Santino Inzana (10-4 over Cody Hetrick) at 145 pounds, Noah Bash (4-2 over Wyatt Griffin at 160 pounds), Eric Johnson (1-0 over Braden MacBeth at 182 pounds) and Anthony Glasl (5-2 over Cabe Park) in a matchup of state-ranked wrestlers at 132 pounds.
