SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – With only four District 9 football teams still alive, the Nov. 12 edition of the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Rankings shows just one team moving in the rankings from a week ago.
Redbank Valley (9-2) jumped up a spot to No. 7 after exacting revenge on Union/A-C Valley (7-4).
The Top Five remained the same with No. 1 Coudersport (10-0) beating Smethport to reach the D9 1A title game, No. 2 Ridgway (10-1) beating Karns City (8-4), which remains at No. 5, Clarion (10-1) is at No. 3 after beating Kane and Clearfield (9-3) is No. 4 despite falling to Bellefonte in the D6-9 Class 4A title game.
Brookville is No. 6, Keystone (9-2), whose season is over, dropped back one spot to No. 7 – the Panthers lost to Redbank Valley during the season – while Union/A-C Valley is at No. 9 and St. Marys (6-5) at No. 10.
The two games this week feature Redbank Valley vs. Coudersport in the District 9 Class 1A title game and Clarion vs. Ridgway in the District 9 Class 2A title game.
