AUSTIN, Pa. – Anna Colbert notched her fourth straight game of at least 20 points scoring 24 in a 66-25 Otto-Eldred win at Austin Thursday night in North Tier League action.

Colbert nailed nine shots including six 3-pointers to pace the Terrors, who moved to 11-2 overall and 5-2 in the NTL with the victory.

Mel Young added 17 points for Otto-Eldred, while Kiana Logue scored 10 to lead Austin, which fell to 0-11, 0-7 in league play.

SMETHPORT 54, GALETON 42

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Behind 18 points from Morgan Okerlund and 14 from Molly Lord, Smethport dispatched visiting Galeton 54-42 Thursday night in NTL action.

Okerlund and Lord combined to hit 14 shots including four triples by Lord, and Smethport used a 38-19 advantage in the middle two quarters to pull away.

Makaya Shadle led all scorers with a career-high 25 points, including hitting four 3-pointers and 7 of 10 free throws, while Latascia Shadle added 10.

The game was tied at nine at the end of the first quarter before the Hubbers outscored Galeton 17-7 in the second quarter to take a 26-16 halftime lead. Smethport kept the pressure on in the third quarter outpacing Tigers 21-12 in the quarter to take a commanding 47-28 lead into the final frame.

With the victory, Smethport advanced to 10-2 overall and 6-1 in the NTL staying in a first-place tie with Port Allegany. Galeton dropped to 6-7 overall and 3-5 in league play.
