FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. (D9Sports) – Creating a dynasty.

That is what the North Clarion girls’ basketball team is in the process of doing.

The She-Wolves won their third straight District 9 Class 1A title in 2019, this time with a win over Johnsonburg, after capturing the KSAC North title for the fourth straight year and finishing second in the KSAC, falling in the KSAC Title Game to A-C Valley.

North Clarion finished the season 19-7 and in the process vanquished any doubters who thought it would take a step back after losing Tori Obenrader, a 2,000-point scorer and 1,000-rebound player, to graduation.

EYT/D9Sports.com Sports Editor Chris Rossetti had a chance to sit down with the team after the season to get their memories on the record-setting year. The interview, below, included senior Gabby Carll, juniors Abby Gatesman, Haley Sherman and Gabby Schmader and sophomore Addison Shaftic.
