REDBANK VALLEY 16, KEYSTONE 1, 3 INNINGS

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Gabby Dinger hit a two-run home run and drove in four runs to help Redbank Valley to a 16-1 win in three innings over visiting Keystone.

Dinger was 2-for-2 in the game.

Shylie Shreckengost also drove in three runs for the Lady Bulldogs going 2-for-3, while Teja Hageter was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Elaina Miller was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Jessi Phillippi hit a solo home run for Keystone.

Montana Hetrick got the win going three innings allowing three hits and a run while striking out four.

BROOKVILLE 18, BROCKWAY 3, 5 INNINGS

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Carlie McManigle and Leah Kammerdeiner each had three hits, leading Brookville to an 18-3 five-inning win at Brockway.

Kammerdeiner doubled and drove in three runs while Lauren Hergert had two hits. McManigle knocked in two runs while getting the win in the circle, striking out eight and walking four and hitting a batter in a three-hitter.

Mackenzie Overbeck paced the Lady Rovers going 1-for-3 with a run scored. Madalynne Heckman and Maggie Schmader each had a run scored.

Morgan Lindemuth struck out three batters in the loss for Brockway.

GLENDALE 6, CLEARFIELD 2, 9 INNINGS

FLINTON, Pa. – A grand slam by Olivia Reese in the bottom of the ninth lifted Glendale over visiting Clearfield, 6-2.

Reese went 2-for-5 on the day and drove in five runs for the Lady Vikings. Madison Lukehard went 1-for-2 with a run scored and Alexis Mulhollen went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Breanna Vereshack had two runs scored.

Olivia Bender paced the Lady Bison going 2-for-4 with an RBI. Casey English had a pair of hits while Karly Rumsky went 1-for-3 with a run scored. Morgan Cheek had an RBI and Kylee Herlein singled.

Mulhollen got the win for Glendale giving up six hits and two runs while striking out two batters.

Emma Hipps had 13 strikeouts and gave up seven hits in the loss for Clearfield.

DCC 16, GREENSBURG CENTRAL CATHOLIC 1, 4 INNINGS; DCC 18, GCC 1, 3 INNINGS

DUBOIS, Pa. – Scoring 34 runs in two games, DuBois Central Catholic swept a doubleheader from visiting Greensburg Central Catholic winning game one 16-1 in four innings and game two 18-1 in three innings.

In the opener, Carley Semanick drove in seven runs while going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and three runs scored. Alyssa Bittner added three RBIs while going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored and Ashley Wruble was 1-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Wruble got the win allowing one unearned run on two hits, a walk and a hit batter while striking out four.

Sara Orndoff led GCC going 2-for-2 with a run scored.

In the nightcap, Miah Meholick, Bittner, Maia Cogley and Jordan Kosko each drove in three runs.

Meholick was 3-for-3 with a double and three runs scored, Bitter was 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored, Cogley was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored and Kosko was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored. Semanick added to her RBI total on the day with two more while going 2-for-3 with three runs scored, Chelsea Busatto was 2-for-2 with a walk, two RBIs and two runs scored, Shay Gulvas was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Wruble was 3-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and four runs scored.

Orndoff was 1-for-2 with an RBI for GCC with Ava Bailey going 1-for-1 with a run scored.

Madison Hoyt got the win going three innings allowing one run on two hits and a walk while striking out four.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 14, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 2, 5 INNINGS

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Mya Phillips and Alyssa Fairbanks each drove in two runs to lead Punxsutawney to a 14-2, five-inning victory over visiting Elk County Catholic.

Phillips was 2-for-4 with a run scored with Fairbanks going 1-for-2.

Grace Aikens added a pair of extra-base hits for the Lady Chucks going 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and two walks. She drove in one and scored twice.

Kendal Johnston and Riley Presloid also each added a hit and three runs scored in the victory, while Holly Hartman was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI and Madison Stonbraker was 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

Sady VanAlstine drove in a run for ECC, while Morgan Wolf (1-for-3) and Lauryn Dippold scored the runs for the Lady Crusaders.

Johnston got the win allowing one unearned run on two hits and a walk while striking out four in four innings of work.

KARNS CITY 12, BLACKHAWK 2, 5 INNINGS

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Mackenzie Dunn went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIs to help Karns City defeat visiting Blackhawk, 12-2 in five innings.

Garrah Milochik went 2-for-2 including a double with two runs scored and two RBIs for the Lady Gremlins. Emily Wolfe and Alyssa Stitt each had a pair of runs scored while Taylor Ekis drove in two runs. Brittney Fritters doubled and had a run scored.

Paige Campbell paced the Lady Cougars with a double. Emma Muir and Kelsey Stoner each had a run scored.

Logan Byers earned the victory for Karns City with nine strikeouts while allowing five hits and two runs.

Morgan Faller took the loss for Blackhawk.

ST. MARYS 7, HOLLIDAYSBURG 0

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Tessa Grotzinger, Anna Mattivi, Pete Schlimm, Megan McMackin each had two hits to lead St. Marys to a 7-0 win over visiting Hollidaysburg.

Grotzinger was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, Mattivi was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, Schlimm was 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored and McMackin was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Brynn Pfister was 2-for-3 for Hollidaysburg.

Maura Fleddermen got the win throwing seven shutout innings allowing three hits while striking out 12.
