SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – While the top three teams all remain the same as last week in the Aug. 28, 2018, Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Football Rankings, Brockway moves into the Top Five and Moniteau and Elk County Catholic both jump into the Top 10.
With a pair of teams moving into the Top 10 that means a pair of teams left the Top 10, as Kane and DuBois drop out this week.
Brookville remains No. 1 following its 69-60 shootout win over Bradford, Clearfield is No. 2 after its dominating defensive performance in a 28-3 win over DuBois and Clarion sits steady at No. 3 following a 40-6 thumping of Punxsutawney. Rounding out the Top Five are Brockway, a 27-24 winner over Karns City, and Bradford despite that loss to Brookville.
The back half of the Top 10 features Redbank Valley at No. 6, Ridgway at No. 7, Karns City at No. 8, Moniteau, after a 14-13 win over Kane, in at No. 9 and Elk County Catholic, following an impressive 34-14 victory over Curwensville, in at No. 10.
The biggest matchup this week pits No. 1 Brookville vs. No. 4 Brockway, while No. 3 Clarion is at No. 9 Moniteau.
