MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The PIAA announced the sites and times of Friday’s PIAA Class A quarterfinal game Wednesday, and Clarion-Limestone gets a plum draw getting to travel just seven miles to Clarion University’s Tippin Gym for a 7 p.m. matchup with Farrell.
The Lions reached the quarterfinals with a 97-90 win over Vincentian Academy Tuesday night in Sharon, while Farrell, which will be playing its second straight game at Tippin Gym, knocked off Elk County Catholic. 79-49, Tuesday.
The winner of Friday’s quarterfinal contest will play in the semifinals Tuesday against the winner of the Monessesn vs. Kennedy Catholic game which is being played at 7:30 p.m. at Moon High School.
