SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – For the first time in weeks, there is a new member of the Top 5 in the Oct. 11 Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com District 9 Football Rankings.
Clarion (6-0) moves into the top of the rankings at the fifth spot with DuBois (4-3) falling two spots to No. 6 after a blowout loss against Grove City last week.
Kane (7-0) remains at No. 1, Karns City (6-1) and Brockway (7-0) are tied at No. 2 and Clearfield (6-1) moves up one spot to No. 4.
Ridgway (6-1) moves up two spots to No. 7, Elk County Catholic (5-2) and Clarion-Limestone (4-2) both fall a spot to No. 8 and No. 9 respectively after losses last week and St. Marys (4-2) jumps into the Top 10 at No. 10.
There is a pair of Top 10 matchups this week including one in the Top 5 when Clarion travels to Karns City. The other matchup pits Kane at Ridgway.
