ELYRIA, Ohio – Three District 9 alumnae helped the Penn State DuBois women’s basketball team to a season-opening win, 90-56, at Lorain County Community College Saturday.

Cranberry graduate Malliah Schreck, in her first collegiate game, posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Coudersport graduate Allison Easton and Union graduate Lexey Shick each added 11 points in the victory.
The Lady Lions were paced by 16 points from Maddie Sprankle, and Cierra O’Shell also scored 11 points in the win.
Penn State DuBois is back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday when it opens its home slate with Butler County Community College.
