DCC (10-14) trailed 12-9 after a quarter before taking control of the game in the second quarter with the large run that also featured four points from Alyssa Bittner and three apiece from Shay Gulvas and Jordan Kosko. The run put DCC ahead 25-15 at halftime.

The Lady Cardinals then got the lead to as many as 16 in the third quarter before holding onto a 10-point lead, 37-27, after three quarters thanks in large part to six points in the third quarter from Gulvas and a pair of 3-pointers in the frame from Haley Pettenati.

Cameron County tried to fight back in the fourth quarter and got as close as four late, but DCC hit some free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

Haley Pettenati and Abbey Pettenati both went 2 of 3 from the line in the fourth quarter for the Lady Cardinals, who were 5 of 8 from the charity shot in the final eight minutes.

Gulvas and Haley Pettenati both had a team-high 12 points for DCC with Wruble chipping in her 10 and Bittner nine points.

Kamme Guisto had a game-high 14 points for Cameron County to go with three assists while Alyvia McKimm added 12 points and Amily Schatz 11 rebounds and two tallies.
