SHEFFIELD 33, OIL CITY 26

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Sheffield overcame a scoreless first quarter to give head coach Tony Richards his first win in his return to the Lady Wolverines bench, 33-26, over visiting Oil City.

Sheffield trailed 5-0 at the end of a quarter but tied the game at 11 by halftime before taking a 20-16 lead at the end of three quarters.

Marissa Grubbs, who scored a team-best 12 points, then helped seal the win by going 7 of 8 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. Grubbs was 10 of 11 from the line on the night.

Allison Schmader added eight points in the victory for Sheffield.

Maddy Marczak paced Oil City with 10 points with Maggie McFall adding eight points.

BRADFORD 56, NORTH EAST 38

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Hannah Lary dropped a game-high 23 points to lead visiting Bradford to a 56-38 win over North East.

The Lady Owls raced out to a 34-13 halftime lead behind 19 points from Lary, who scored 12 in the first quarter alone helping Bradford score 18 first-quarter points.

Erica Marshall chipped in nine points in the victory for the Lady Owls.

Elise Sebolt paced North East with 13 points.

UNION 61, VENANGO CATHOLIC 12

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Dominika Logue scored a game-high 26 points, including 18 in the first half, to lead Union to a 61-12 win over visiting Venango Catholic in the KSAC North opener for both teams.

Hailey Kriebel and Kennedy Vogle each added eight points for the Golden Damsels, who led 35-4 at halftime and didn’t allow a point in the middle two quarters.

Emmy Ekis paced Venango Catholic with six points, three rebounds and two steals.

NORTH CLARION 66, FOREST AREA 11

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – A 28-point first quarter helped North Clarion cruise past visiting Forest Area, 66-11, in the KSAC North opener for both teams.

The She-Wolves led 28-3 at the end of the opening eight minutes and 41-6 at halftime.

Ten different North Clarion players scored led by 16 points from Abby Gatesman, who hit four 3-pointers. Haley Sherman added 10 points and 10 rebounds with Gabby Schmader scoring nine points and Trinity Thompson eight points. Amya Green also gathered 10 rebounds to go with two points.

Jessica Wagner and Megan Clow each had four points to pace Forest Area.

GALETON 41, AUSTIN 30

GALETON, Pa. – Cara Parsell had nine points, 15 rebounds and nine steals to lead Galeton to a 41-30 win over Austin in the NTL opener for both squads in Galeton.

Alli Macensky had a team-high 10 points to go with nine rebounds for the Lady Tigers with Lauren Sauley adding eight points and nine boards.

Taylor Brewer paced Austin with eight points, nine blocked shots, three rebounds and two steals with Kylie Welsh adding seven points, five rebounds and four steals.

KEYSTONE 42, CLARION 25

KNOX, Pa. – Jozee Weaver and Natasha Bowser combined for 25 points to lead Keystone to a 42-25 KSAC South win over visiting Clarion.

Weaver paced the Lady Panthers with 14 points with Bowser adding 11. Emily Lauer also scored eight points for Keystone.

Kait Constantino scored 10 points for Clarion.

CAMERON COUNTY 44, NORTHERN POTTER 32

ULYSSES, Pa. – Hailey Hilfiger knocked down 10 shots on her way to a game-high 21 points, as visiting Cameron County picked up a 44-32 win over Northern Potter in the NTL opener for both teams.

Hilfiger completed a double-double with 15 rebounds while also adding four blocked shots and two steals.

Mallory McKimm added 10 points and four blocks for the Lady Raiders with Kaelee Bresslin scoring seven points to go with five steals and four assists..

Faith Zdrojewski scored seven points to pace Northern Potter with Aubre Anderson adding six points. Courtney Martin had two points and a team-high 11 rebounds with Megan Hyde adding four points and 10 rebounds.

OTTO-ELDRED 56, OSWAYO VALLEY 16

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Jadelyn Spinney and Reilly Raught combined for 30 points to help Otto-Eldred open NTL play with a 56-16 road win over Oswayo Valley

Spinney scored a game-high 16 points with Raught adding 14 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Katie Sheeler also had a strong all-around game for the Lady Terrors with two points, seven assists, six rebounds and four steals with Kayley Heller adding four points and eight rebounds and Morgan Dalton five points and six steals.

Jadyn Brabham scored eight points to lead Oswayo Valley.

COUDERSPORT 58, SMETHPORT 21

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Getting 41 combined points from Elizabeth Frame, Sarah Chambers and Rosalyn Page, Coudersport cruised to a 58-21 win over visiting Smethport in the NTL opener for both squads.

Frame and Chambers each scored a game-high 14 points for the Lady Falcons with Page adding 13.

Erin Herzog led Smethport with nine points and six rebounds.

HOLLIDAYSBURG 63, DUBOIS 38

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. – Marin Miller scored a game-high 24 points to pace Hollidaysburg past visiting DuBois, 63-38.

Allison Hileman added 14 points for the victors.

Abby Guiher led DuBois with 17 points while hitting four 3-pointers.

A-C VALLEY 32, CLARION-LIMESTONE 24

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Andrea Meals netted 12 points to give A-C Valley a 32-24 road KSAC North win over Clarion-Limestone.

Mia Sherman added seven points for the Lady Falcons with Rachel Cullen chipping in six.

Frances Milliron had a game-high 17 points for C-L.

CRANBERRY 47, MONITEAU 32

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Ava Ferringer and Kaia Dean combined to score 37 points and grab 23 rebounds to lead visiting Cranberry to a 47-32 win in KSAC South play over Moniteau.

Ferringer had a game-high 23 points while adding 10 rebounds, while Dean had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Kaylie Bruce chipped in eight points.

Haley Pry paced Moniteau with nine points and 10 rebounds, Abby Rottman added eight points and four steals and Aslyn Pry scored six points.

REDBANK VALLEY 49, KARNS CITY 23

KARNS CITY, Pa. – A 12-point night from Tara Hinderliter helped Redbank Valley pick up a 49-23 KSAC South road win over Karns City.

Hinderliter was one of nine Lady Bulldogs to score.

Maddison Forringer chipped in eight points in the win while Alivia Huffman had seven.

Rossi McMillen led Karns City with eight points.
