KANE 33, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 30

KANE, Pa. – Dubois Central Catholic melted away a 14-point Kane lead, but couldn’t hold on as Kane rallied to win 33-30.

With Kane up 23-9 late in the third, DCC got some momentum behind Jordy Kosko and Maia Cogley who each scored four points in the quarter to cut the lead to 23-15 at the end of three.

DCC briefly lead 30-29, but a pair of free throws by Madi Koza and a pair by Sarri Swanson put Kane back on top 33-30.

Swanson was 6-for-6 at the line in the fourth, leading all scorers with 15 points, adding eight rebounds and eight blocks. Emily Bucheit chipped in eight points for Kane.

Kosko lead DCC with 14 points, Martina Swalligan added seven.

REDBANK VALLEY 61, CRANBERRY 31

SENECA, Pa. – Tara Hinderliter netted 19 points to lead Redbank Valley to a 61-31 road win over Cranberry.

Alivia Huffman added 12 points for the Lady Bulldogs with Madison Forringer adding eight points.

Ava Ferringer paced Cranberry with 12 points with Kaia Dean adding eight points.

BROOKVILLE 63, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 28

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Marcy Schindler scored 16 of her game-high 18 points in the first half to lead Brookville to a 63-28 D9 League road win at Elk County Catholic Friday night.

Brookville led 34-17 at halftime and 43-24 after three quarters before outsourcing ECC 20-4 over the final eight minutes to set the final score.

Morgan Johnson added 13 points for the Lady Raiders while Madison Johnson and Lauren Hergert scored nine and eight points respectively.

Taylor Newton was the lone Lady Crusader in double figures, scoring 13 points and completing a double-double with 11 rebounds to go along with four blocks.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 50, VENANGO CATHOLIC 30

OIL CITY, Pa. – Frances Milliron scored 17 points to lead Clarion-Limestone to a 50-30 win at Venango Catholic.

Janelle Pezzuti added nine points with Anna Kennemuth and Maddy Wenner each scored eight for the Lady Lions.

Emmy Ekis paced Venango Catholic with 12 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots while Hope Winger had seven points and 15 rebounds and Alyson Stewart five points and nine boards.

KEYSTONE 42, KARNS CITY 27

KNOX, Pa. – Emily Lauer scored seven of her game-high 13 points in the fourth quarter to lift Keystone over visiting Karns City, 42-27.

Alyssa Dunlap scored 10 points for the Lady Panthers with Maddie Dunlap adding nine.

Rossi McMillon paced the Lady Gremlins with 11 points and Emma Johns chipped in 10.

CLARION 51, MONITEAU 44

CLARION, Pa. – Kait Constantino exploded for a season-high 28 points to lead Clarion to a 51-44 win over visiting Moniteau.

Constantino did major work from the line going 12 of 13 from the charity stripe.

Jordan Best added nine points for the Lady Cats, who trailed 23-22 at halftime but outscored Moniteau 14-6 in the third quarter.

Kristin Auvil led Moniteau with 12 points, six rebounds and three assists with Abby Rottman adding 11 points and Aslyn Pry contributing a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

NORTH CLARION 63, UNION 22

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Mackenzie Bauer scored 18 of her game-high 22 points after halftime, as North Clarion took an 11-point lead at the break and turned it into a 63-22 win at Union.

The She-Wolves led 26-15 at the break but outscored Union 37-7 including 19-4 in the third quarter and 18-3 in the fourth quarter with Bauer, who added seven steals, scoring 13 points in the fourth quarter.

Haley Sherman and Abby Gatesman each added double-doubles for North Clarion with Sherman scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds and Gatesman scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 boards while also coming away with six steals. Trinity Thompson led the She-Wolves with 11 rebounds while scoring three points, and Gabby Schmader had five steals while scoring three points.

Dominika Logue paced Union with 13 points.

A-C VALLEY 59, FOREST AREA 16

FOXBURG, Pa. – Meah Ielase led a trio of A-C Valley players in double digits with 16 points, as the Lady Falcons rolled past visiting Forest Area, 59-16.

Andrea Meals added 14 points for A-C Valley with Baylee Blauser scoring 12.

Jessica Wagner had eight points for Forest Area.

HUNTINGDON 67, CLEARFIELD 20

HYDE, Pa. – Allie Troup had 20 points to lead a balanced offensive attack in Huntingdon’s 67-20 road victory over Clearfield.

Lexi Troup added 12 points for the Lady Bearcats with Kynnedy Miller chipping in 11 including three 3-pointers. Kait McElroy netted 10 points.

Tesa Miller paced the Lady Bison with seven points.

NORTHERN POTTER 47, AUSTIN 12

AUSTIN, Pa. – Courtney Martin scored 11 points to lead a balanced Northern Potter effort in a 47-12 win at Austin.

Madison Hoopes and Aubree Anderson each added eight points for NoPo with Alyssa Burchell chipping in seven points.

Kenda Valenti paced Austin with six points.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 61, JOHNSONBURG 12

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Sarah Weaver scored all 13 of her points in the first quarter to help visiting Punxsutawney roll to a 61-12 win at Johnsonburg.

Weaver added six steals and five assists and helped the Lady Chucks to a 27-2 lead at the end of one quarter.

Riley Presolid added 13 points and Punxsy with Chloe Presloid chipping in 11 points.

Tessa Kocjancic and Emma King each scored four points for Johnsonburg.

ST. MARYS 54, SMETHPORT 11

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Kaylee Mucio hit four 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 18 points to lead St. Marys to a 54-11 win over visiting Smethport.

Allison Schlimm added nine points for the Lady Dutch, Megan Quesenberry chipped eight points with Britney Shaw contributing seven points.

MyKayla Deyarmin paced Smethport with six points.

PORTVILLE (N.Y.) 45, BRADFORD 29

DUKE CENTER, Pa. – Karly Welty netted a game-high 20 points to lead Portville (N.Y.) to a 45-29 win over Bradford in the opening round of the Randy Stebbins Memorial Tournament at Otto-Eldred.

Mallory Welty added 10 points for Portville, who will play host Otto-Eldred in the title game Saturday.

Hannah Lary led Bradford with 15 points.

OTTO-ELDRED 59, OSWAYO VALLEY 16

DUKE CENTER, Pa. – Behind 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals from Reilly Raught, Otto-Eldred rolled past visiting Oswayo Valley, 59-16, in the opening round of the Randy Stebbins Memorial Tournament at Otto-Eldred.

Katie Sheeler added 10 points for the Lady Terrors, who will play Portville (N.Y.) in the title game Saturday, while Kayley Heller had four points and six rebounds and Hayley Cousins five points and four steals.

Jadyn Brabham scored eight points to lead Oswayo Valley.
