GIRLS

ALLEGANY-LIMESTONE (N.Y.) 59, BRADFORD 33

OLEAN, N.Y.  – Behind 21 points from Ally Forness, Alleghany-Limestone (N.Y.) defeated Bradford 59-33 in the opening round of the IAABO Tournament at St. Bonaventure University Sunday.

Lee Woodmansee led Bradford with nine points.

Bradford will take on Randolph (N.Y.) in the consolation game at 11 a.m. Monday.

BOYS

OLEAN (N.Y.) 62, BRADFORD 34

OLEAN, N.Y. – Elijah Ramadhan scored 22 points to lead Olean (N.Y.) to a 63-34 win over Bradford in the opening round of the IAABO Large School Division Tournament at St. Bonaventure University Sunday night.

Ben Eckstrom added 18 points for the Huskies.

John Eakin led Bradford with 10 points, while Tyler Nuzzo added eight points  and five rebounds for the Owls, who will take on Jamestown (N.Y.) in the consolation game at 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Turnovers killed Bradford with the Owls giving the ball away 32 times to Olean’s seven.
