COUDERSPORT 63, BRADFORD 31

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Four Coudersport players reached double digits to lead the Lady Falcons to a 63-31 win over Bradford in the championship game of the Maple Leaf Tournament at Coudersport.

Haley Keck paced Coudy with 14 points, EmmaRae Easton added 13, Shaelyn Black had 12 and Adrian Page 10. Black completed a double-double with 13 rebounds.

Taylor Smith and Brinya Moffett each scored eight points for Bradford.

NORTHERN POTTER 43, CAMERON COUNTY 35

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Becca Morgan netted 16 points to help Northern Potter to a 43-35 win over Cameron County in the consolation game of the Maple Leaf Tournament at Coudersport.

Mikayla Lewis added nine points for the Lady Panthers with Kalie Cowburn chipping in with seven.

Alyvia McKimm paced Cameron County with 12 points on four 3-pointers. Kamme Guisto chipped in with nine tallies and Amily Schatz had seven points.

KEYSTONE 45, CRANBERRY 43

SENECA, Pa. – Taylor Geer scored 10 of her game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter to help Keystone rally past Cranberry, 45-43, in the championship game of the Don Hall Memorial Christmas Tournament at Cranberry.

The Berries led 32-27 going to the fourth quarter but Geer, who had 20 points after halftime and finished off a double-double with 10 rebounds, hit four baskets and a pair of free throws in the fourth quarter while Kenzie Hovis (five points, eight rebounds) and Makenzie Byerley (nine points) both hit key 3-pointers in the frame.

Cranberry, which led 15-13 at halftime, got 16 points from Erin Merryman, 10 from Malliah Schreck and eight from Ashley Finch. But the Berries were 9 of 17 from the free-throw line including 3 of 7 in the fourth quarter.

GALETON 52, MONTGOMERY 25

MANSFIELD, Pa. – Makaya Shadle netted 20 points to lead Galeton to a 52-25 win over Montgomery in the consolation game of the Mansfield Christmas Tournament.

UNION 52, MERCER 44

MERCER, Pa. – Frankee Remmick led a trio of Union players in double digits, as the Golden Damsels claimed third place in the Mercer Christmas Tournament with a 52-44 win over the host squad.

Hannah Atzeni chipped in 14 points for Union with Bryn Davis scoring 12.

Darby Miller scored 19 points to lead Mercer.

KARNS CITY 46, OIL CITY 45

OIL CITY, Pa. – On the back of a 24-point second quarter, Karns City grabbed an 11-point halftime lead and then held off a strong Oil City comeback to knock off the Oilers, 46-45, in the first game of the action Friday at the Blue and White Holiday Classic at Oil City.

The Lady Gremlins led 38-27 at halftime but scored just eight second-half points. Oil City had a chance to win the game with the Oilers holding for the final shot down one. But Oil City turned the ball over with eight seconds left allowing Karns City to escape with the win.

Emily Hegedus scored a game-high 26 points for Karns City including 18 in the first half, 11 in the second quarter.

Alyssa Stitt added 12 points for the Lady Gremlins.

Gabbie Plumer had 15 points to lead Oil City with Abby Yeager adding 11 points.

ST. MARYS 40, JOHNSONBURG 39

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Rally from a three-point deficit heading to the fourth quarter, St. Marys beat Johnsonburg, 40-39, in the opening round of the Elk County Tournament at St. Marys.

The Lady Dutch trailed 30-27 going to the final eight minutes but started the fourth quarter on a 10-4 run to turn their fortunes around.

Megan Quesenberry had a team-high nine points for a balanced St. Marys squad with Kaylee Muccio and Becca Bauer each scoring eight points and Samantha Hayes six.

Lindsay Kocjancic led Johnsonburg with 11 points with Cassidy King and Rylee Casilio each scoring 10.

St. Marys will face Elk County Catholic in Saturday’s championship game with Johnsonburg taking on Ridgway in the consolation contest.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 51, RIDGWAY 32

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Taylor Newton scored 18 points to lead Elk County Catholic to a 51-32 win over Ridgway in the opening round of the Elk County Tournament at St. Marys High School.

Josie Smith added eight tallies for the Lady Crusaders.

Karley LeBenne paced Ridgway with 12 points and three rebounds. Casey Woodford had nine points, three rebounds, two steals and an assist with Emily Fullem netting seven points to go with 11 rebounds, three blocks, two steals and two assists.
