BROOKVILLE 44, BROCKWAY 40

DUBOIS, Pa. – AJ Lachnicht led a trio of Brookville players in double digits with 12 points, as the Raiders knocked off Brockway, 44-40, in the championship game of the DuBois Holiday Tournament.

It was the second tournament title of the year for Brookville over Brockway, as the Raiders also beat the Rovers, 48-46, in the title game of the Brookville Tip-Off Tournament Dec. 9.

Aaron Park added 11 points for Brookville with Bryan Dworek chipping in with 10 tallies.

Zane Puhala led Brockway with 14 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, with Noah Vokes adding 10 tallies.

The Rovers were unable to overcome a slow start despite a fast finish. Brockway trailed 10-1 at the end of a quarter and 22-11 at halftime and were down 14, 34-20, at the end of third quarter before outscoring Brookville 20-10 in the fourth quarter.

DUBOIS 60, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 51

DUBOIS, Pa. – Chase Husted collected 21 points to help DuBois to a 60-51 win over DuBois Central Catholic in the consolation game of the DuBois Holiday Tournament.

Alex Beers added 12 points for DuBois with Kenny Garvey adding nine points.

Justin Miknis had a game-high 25 points for DCC with Jonathan Krutz adding 13 tallies.

RIDGWAY 45, ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 32

ST. MARYS, Pa. – In the championship game of the Elk County Tournament at St. Marys High School, Johnny Mitchell scored 16 points to lead Ridgway to a 45-32 win over Elk County Catholic.

Daunte Allegretto added 12 points for the Elkers with Andy Breier chipping in with eight.

Ryan Newton netted 16 points for ECC with Brady Schneider adding nine.

ST. MARYS 63, JOHNSONBURG 47

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Nathan Schneider hit five 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 26 points, as St. Marys toppled Johnsonburg, 63-47, in the consolation game of the Elk County Tournament at St. Marys High School.

Schneider netted of his points in the first quarter while hitting three 3-pointers in the opening eight minutes helping the Dutch take an early 19-10 lead that grew to 38-25 at halftime and 51-27 at the end of three quarters.

Jared Groll chipped in 12 points for St. Marys.

Austin Green had 17 points to lead Johnsonburg.

BRADFORD 67, ALLEGANY-LIMESTONE (N.Y.) 56

ALLEGANY, N.Y. – Tyler Gigliotti netted 22 points to lead Bradford to a 67-56 win over Allegany-Limestone (N.Y.) in the consolation game of the IAABO Tournament at Allegany-Limestone.

Deondre Terwilliger added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Owls with Donny Pattison netting 11 tallies and Danny Mannion getting eight points and nine rebounds.
