BROCKWAY, Pa. – District 9 has released its latest update to the 2019 basketball championship brackets Feb. 23.

The update includes some dates, times and locations for semifinal, championship and consolation games as well as one date change and a time change on previously announced information.
CLASS 1A BOYS
Semifinal information is now released for Class 1A boys’ action with the semifinal game between fifth-seeded Johnsonburg and top-seeded Elk County Catholic taking place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at St. Marys High School and the semifinal game between third-seeded Clarion-Limestone and second-seeded North Clarion taking place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Clarion High School. Information on the championship game was not released.
CLASS 1A GIRLS
The second semifinal game in Class 1A girls’ – the first semifinal game was held Friday, Feb. 22, with Johnsonburg beating Otto-Eldred – will see third-seeded North Clarion taking on second-seeded Coudersport at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at St. Marys High School. Information on the championship game nor the consolation game was not released.
Class 2A BOYS
The consolation game for Class 2A boys’ between Keystone and Karns City has been set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Moniteau High School. The date, time and location for the championship game between Ridgway and Coudersport have not been announced.
CLASS 2A GIRLS
The second semifinal date, time and location have been set in Class 2A girls’ with top-seeded Kane taking on fourth-seeded Clarion at 7:30 p.m. at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Brookville High School. The other semifinal between sixth-seeded Keystone and second-seeded A-C Valley was already set for Feb. 26 at Moniteau High School but the time has been moved from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Championship and consolation game information wasn’t released.
CLASS 3A BOYS
District 9 champion Brookville will take on District 5 champion Everett in a sub-regional game at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at Pitt-Johnstown. The winner will advance to the PIAA playoffs.
CLASS 3A GIRLS
District 9 champion Brookville will face District 5 champion Chestnut Ridge in a sub-regional game at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Clearfield High School. The winner will advance to the PIAA playoffs
CLASS 4A BOYS
The championship game between second-seeded Bradford and top-seeded Clearfield will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at DuBois High School.
CLASS 4A GIRLS
The championship game between second-seeded St. Marys and top-seeded Punxsutawney will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at DuBois High School
CLASS 5A BOYS (WITH D8 AND D10)
The semifinal contest between District 9’s DuBois and District 8’s Carrick will now be played at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Clarion High School. The game was originally slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26. The other semifinal, which also acts as the District 10 championship game, will see Erie Cathedral Prep taking on Meadville Tuesday, Feb. 26
CLASS 5A GIRLS (WITH D8 AND D6)
The championship game between Hollidaysburg and Obama Academy will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at Penn State Altoona.
