BROOKVILLE, Pa. – District 9 released football playoff brackets Saturday.
Top seeds include Curwensville in Class 1A, Kane in Class 2A, Karns City in Class 3A (combined tournament with District 8) and Bellefonte in Class 4A (combined tournament with Districts 5 and 6).
There will be at least one game in each field with Class 3A only have a championship game between Punxsutawney and Karns City Thursday, Nov. 9, at Clarion University’s Memorial Field.
Also, in Class 1A Curwensville and second-seeded Ridgway have quarterfinal byes.
All other games will be played at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3.
