District 9 Sets Times for “Super Saturday” Basketball

BROCKWAY, Pa. – District 9 set times for five games that will be played on “Super Saturday”, March 4, at Clarion University’s Tippin Gym.

Action will get underway with the Class 2A consolation game between Clarion-Limestone and the loser of Wednesday’s semifinal game between Ridgway and Brockway at 12:30 p.m.

The first championship contest will then be played at 2 p.m. in girls’ Class 1A between North Clarion and the winner of Wednesday’s semifinal game between Northern Potter and Otto-Eldred.

The boys’ Class 1A title game will then take place at 3:45 p.m with Elk County Catholic meeting Johnsonburg.

At 5:30 p.m. the Class 2A girls’ championship game between Coudersport and Kane will tip off followed at 7:15 p.m. by the Class 2A boys’ championship game featuring Coudersport and the winner of Wednesday night’s Brockway/Ridgway game.

All times after the 12:30 p.m. consolation game are tentative based on the other games. The four championship games shouldn’t start any earlier than the assigned times but could start later.
