ERIE, Pa. – Under a proposal by the District 10 committee, the DuBois football team will be getting a pair of new Region 5 opponents the next two seasons.
The proposal, which will be finalized at the District 10 committee meeting Jan. 16, 2018, still has the Beavers, one of two District 9 football teams – the other is Clearfield – not playing in the newly formed District 9 Football League, playing in District 10, Region 5 with Oil City, Franklin, Warren and Meadville. But DuBois would be joined by Fort LeBoeuf and General McLane, who will replace Conneaut (Pa.) and Grove City, who are both moving from Class 4A to Class 3A in the new classification cycle.
Other sports involving Bradford would also see changes in regions. See the entire District 10 proposed Region changes.
