BOYS

RIDGWAY 58, PORT ALLEGANY 23

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Matt Dush scored 14 points and Dan Park added 12, as visiting Ridgway won for the fifth time in its last six outing, 58-23, over Port Allegany.

RJ Miller added nine points for the well-balanced Elkers (13-6) with Zack Zameroski and Domenic Allegretto each adding eight points and Alex Bon chipping in seven.

Howie Stuckey paced Port Allegany (8-12) with nine points.

KEYSTONE 63, CRANBERRY 37

SENECA, Pa. – Behind 32 combined points from Troy Johnson and Andrew Lauer, Keystone wrapped up KSAC South play with a 63-37 win at Cranberry.

A day after clinching its second consecutive KSAC South title, the Panthers (19-2 overall, 9-1 KSAC South) got 17 points from Johnson and 15 from Lauer while sweeping the season series from the Berries (7-13, 1-9).

Brandon Pierce also reached double digits for Keystone with 10 points, while Gavin Hogue added four assists.

Matt McQuaide scored 18 points for Cranberry.

Keystone can secure the top seed in the District 9 Class 2A playoffs with a win over North Clarion Tuesday. Cranberry finishes the season with home games against Kane Tuesday and Forest Area Wednesday.

ST. JOSEPH’S CATHOLIC ACADEMY 55, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 42

DUBOIS, Pa. – Brendan Scanlon scored 21 points to help visiting St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy to a 55-42 win over DuBois Central Catholic.

Aidan Cross added 15 points in the win.

Harrison Starr paced DCC (3-18) with 12 points with Damon Foster adding 10 and Ethan Kness nine.

GIRLS

PUNXSUTAWNEY 46, DUBOIS 31

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – An 18-4 third-quarter advantage helped Punxsutawney stayed unbeaten in D9 League action with a 46-31 win over visiting DuBois.

The Lady Chucks (17-3 overall, 9-0 D9 League) led by just two, 22-20, at halftime before Ryley Casaday scored six points and Riley Presloid five in the 18-point third quarter.

Sarah Weaver led Punxsutawney with 22 points, including 10 in the second quarter when she hit a pair of 3-pointers. Weaver added five rebounds, three blocked shots and an assist.

Riley Presloid chipped in nine points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, Casaday had six points, seven rebounds, four steals and four assists, Abby Gigliotti added six rebounds, one blocked shot, one assist and two points and Chloe Presloid had three points, three assists, three rebounds and two steals.

Olivia Johnson and Saige Weible each scored nine points for DuBois (11-10, 2-8).
