HARRISBURG, Pa. – DuBois senior quarterback Gabe French was named to the Pennsylvania Sports Writers Class AAAA All-State football team Tuesday.
French was one of four quarterbacks named All-State, a list that included the Class AAAA Player of the Year, Ben DiNucci of Pine-Richland.
French was one of four District 9 players named All-State this year by the Sports Writers joining Ridgway’s Ben MacDonald (DB), Kane’s James Lingenfelter (LB) and Clarion’s Alexander Burkhardt (OL), who were all named to the Class A squad Monday.
District 9 didn’t have any players on either the Class AA or Class AAA teams.
