DUBOIS, Pa. – Samantha Hayes of St. Marys won the District 9 Class 2A girls’ tennis title Wednesday.

Hayes beat Abbey Gigliotti of Punxsutawney in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. It is the second straight season Hayes has topped Gigliotti for the D9 title.
Wednesday’s championship match was originally slated for Tuesday but was pushed back a day because of weather.
