KANE 49, CURWENSVILLE 23

KANE, Pa. – Emily Bucheit had 16 points, seven assists and six steals to help Kane pick up a 49-23 home AML win over Curwensville.

Ainsley Saf hit three 3-pointers on her way to 11 points for the Lady Wolves with Sarri Swanson chipping in eight points and eight rebounds.

Alyssa Bakaysa paced Curwensville with 10 points.

NORTH CLARION 57, CLARION 34

CLARION, Pa. – Putting three players in double digits, North Clarion used strong starts to all four quarters to pick up a 57-34 road win over Clarion.

Haley Sherman led the unbeaten She-Wolves with a season-high 15 points and seven rebounds, while Mackenzie Bauer added 13 points, eight rebounds and seven steals and Abby Gatesman contributed a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Trinity Thompson also just missed a double-double for North Clarion with eight points and 10 boards.

Sherman was named the Hager Paving Player of the Game and talked about the win.

Kait Constantino paced Clarion with a game-high 22 points while adding six rebounds and two steals. Noel Anthony grabbed a team-best eight rebounds for the Lady Cats, while Jordan Best added four points and seven boards.

The game was decided at the outset of each quarter with North Clarion using an 8-0 run to start the game to take an 11-5 lead after on quarter. The She-Wolves then used a 10-5 spurt at the start of the second quarter to build the lead to 25-13 at halftime before starting the second half with a 9-2 run on their way to a 40-21 lead after three. North Clarion put the game on ice by scoring 10 of the first 12 points of the fourth quarter.

ST. MARYS 35, COUDERSPORT 24

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Using an extremely balanced attack that didn’t see any player score more than five points, visiting St. Marys got back in the win column with a 35-24 win over Coudersport.

Kaylee Muccio, Lauren Eckert, Britney Shaw, Allison Schlimm and Isabelle Caskey each scored five points to lead the Lady Dutch, who led 20-10 at halftime.

Rosalyn Page scored a game-high nine points to lead Coudersport with Mikaya Gunn and Sarah Chambers each adding six tallies.

MONITEAU 48, A-C VALLEY 44

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Behind its two stars – Kristin Auvil and Aslyn Pry – Moniteau rallied in the fourth quarter to beat visiting A-C Valley, 48-44.

The Lady Warriors trailed 34-28 going to the final eight minutes before Auvil hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight points and Pry added eight points of her own to secure the victory.

Aslyn Pry’s fourth quarter helped her secure a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds in the contest while Auvil scored 12 points and added five assists and Haley Pry also scored 12 points, a career high for her, as well. Abby Rottman also chipped in seven tallies for the Lady Warriors.

Rachel Cullen had a game-high 18 points for A-C Valley with Baylee Blauser chipping in 11 tallies and Andrea Meals eight.

DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 57, SHEFFIELD 20

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Jordan Kosko scored a game-high 17 points to help visiting DuBois Central Catholic pick up a 57-20 AML victory over Sheffield.

Shay Gulvas added nine points for the Lady Cardinals while Martina Swalligan chipping in eight points.

Alyssa Dunham had eight points to lead Sheffield with Allison Schmader hitting a pair of 3-pointers to finish with six points for the Lady Wolverines.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 46, BRADFORD 41

BRADFORD, Pa. – Down a point at halftime, Punxsutawney came back to pick up a 46-41 road D9 League victory over Bradford.

The Lady Chucks trailed 19-18 at the break before taking a 31-30 lead after three quarters. Ryley Casaday then scored six points and Sarah Weaver five in the fourth quarter to help Punxsutawney hold the advantage.

Weaver led Punxsutawney with 16 points with Casaday adding 10 and Chloe Presloid seven. Weaver also had four assists three rebounds and a blocked shot, while Casaday added six rebounds, three steals and two assists and Presloid five rebounds, two steals and two helpers. Kierstin Riley had a team-best seven rebounds to go with four points.

Hannah Lary had a game-high 23 points for Bradford with Erica Marshall adding 13 points.

CLEARFIELD 53, BALD EAGLE AREA 40

WINGATE, Pa. – Tied after three quarters, Clearfield rode an eight-point fourth quarter from Tesa Miller to a 53-40 win at Bald Eagle Area.

The Lady Bison and Eagles were tied at 36 going into the fourth, but behind Miller, who finished with a team-best 13 points, Clearfield outscored Bald Eagle 17-4 in the frame.

Kylie VanTassel hit three 3-pointers and ended with 12 points in the win for Clearfield, while Megan Durandetta chipped in eight points and Olivia Bender seven.

Maddie Perry paced Bald Eagle with 16 points with Lacee Barnhart scoring 13 while hitting three 3-pointers.

SMETHPORT 30, OSWAYO VALLEY 24

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Thanks to 12 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots from Erin Herzog visiting Smethport picked up a 30-24 win over Oswayo Valley in NTL action.

The Lady Hubbers led by just two, 19-17, going to the fourth quarter but got four points from Herzog and four from Danielle Nelson to expand the margin a tad.

Nelson added six points and three steals and Sabrina Tanner five points and 10 rebounds for Smethport.

Jadyn Brabham had a strong scoring game for Oswayo Valley with 15 points, while Macy West added seven for the Green Wave.

NORTHERN POTTER 48, AUSTIN 22

ULYSSES, Pa. – Aubrey Anderson and Courtney Martin each scored 14 points to lead Northern Potter to a 48-22 win over visiting Austin in NTL action.

Martin added a team-best nine rebounds with Anderson adding five steals in the victory.

Kendra Valenti led Austin with six points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Taylor Brewer added seven rebounds, three steals, two blocks and four points. Shae Setzer had five steals and three points.

PORT ALLEGANY 48, CAMERON COUNTY 33

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Bree Garzel scored 21 points and handed out eight assists to help Port Allegany to a 48-33 home NTL win over Cameron County.

Cailey Barnett chipped in eight points, nine rebounds, five steals and three helpers for the Lady Gators with Shannon Curfman also scoring eight points and Evin Stauffer adding four points and five rebounds.

Kalee Bresslin scored 17 points to pace Cameron County with Mallory McKimm scoring seven points.

REDBANK VALLEY 55, UNION 43

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Tara Hinderliter’s 24 points helped visiting Redbank Valley top Union, 55-43.

Alivia Huffman added 14 points for the Lady Bulldogs with Lauren Smith scoring 13 points.

Dominika Logue had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Union with Keira Croyle chipping in 13 points.

KARNS CITY 60, VENANGO CATHOLIC 27

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Emma Johns and Rossi McMillen combined to score 27 points to help Karns City to a 60-27 home win over Venango Catholic.

Johns scored a game-high 14 points for the Lady Gremlins with McMillen adding a career-best 13 tallies. Abby Callihan chipped in with seven points in the victory.

Emmy Ekis paced Venango Catholic with nine points with Mariah Wessell adding eight.

DUBOIS 59, MARION CENTER 46

DUBOIS, Pa. – Abby Guiher hit five 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 23 points helping DuBois beat visiting Marion Center, 59-46.

Saige Weible added 14 points in the victory for the Lady Beavers with Olivia Johnson scoring 10 points and Sarah Henniger eight.

Laney Monroe had a team-best 15 points for Marion Center.

BROOKVILLE 63, JOHNSONBURG 20

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Racing out to a 24-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, visiting Brookville cruised to a 63-20 win over Johnsonburg.

Marcy Schindler led the Lady Raiders with 16 points with Morgan Johnson adding 15 and her twin sister, Madison Johnson, chipping in nine.

Tesa Kocjancic led Johnsonburg with 11 points.

CRANBERRY 53, CLARION-LIMESTONE 22

SENECA, Pa. – Ava Ferringer scored 15 points to lead a trio of Cranberry players in double digits, as the Berries rolled past visiting Clarion-Limestone, 53-22.

Kaia Dean added 14 points for the victors while Kaylie Bruce scored 10 points.

Frances Milliron and Sydney Simpson each scored six points for C-L.

KEYSTONE 54, FOREST AREA 12

KNOX, Pa. – Natalie Bowser scored 13 points to help Keystone roll past visiting Forest Area, 54-12.

Maddie Dunlap added 10 points in the win for the Lady Panthers with Emily Lauer and Alyssa Dunlap each scoring nine points and Jozee Weaver adding seven tallies.

Jessica Wagner scored 10 points for Forest Area.
