RIDGWAY 41, CURWENSVILLE 40, OVERTIME

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Jeremy Breier scored 29 points, and No. 3 Ridgway escaped an upset bid by visiting Curwensville to get a 41-40 win in overtime at Ridgway Tuesday.

The Elkers (14-1 overall, 5-1 AML South) survived a game-tying 3-pointer by Curwensville’s Jake Terry at the buzzer in regulation by outscoring the Tide (4-10, 1-4) 6-5 in the extra session.

Curwensville led 32-30 with 3 ½ minutes to play in regulation before a 5-0 Ridgway spurt gave the Elkers the 3-point lead before Terry hit a fadeaway desperation shot over two defenders to send the game to overtime.

The game remained tied at 37 halfway through the extra session before Ridgway was able to pull out the win.

JOHNSONBURG 49, SHEFFIELD 34

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Ryan Kilhoffer, Zane Hodgdon and Christian Cherry combined to score 39 of Johnsonburg 49 points in a 49-34 win over visiting Sheffield Tuesday.

Kilhoffer led the way with 14 points, Hodgdon added 13 and Cherry 12 for the No. 19 Rams, who moved back to .500 (8-8 overall, 3-4 AML North) with the win.

Sheffield dropped to 4-11 overall and 1-4 in the AML North.

CAMERON COUNTY 63, NORTHERN POTTER 29

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Nate Sestina had 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead No. 9 Cameron County to a 63-29 North Tier League win over visiting Northern Potter.

The Red Raiders moved to 13-2 overall and 8-1 in the NTL with the victory, while Northern Potter fell to 2-11 overall and 2-7 in league.

COUDERSPORT 83, AUSTIN 24

AUSTIN, Pa. – No. 7 Coudersport had four players score in double digit in an 83-24 blowout of homestanding Austin Tuesday night.

Darren Keglovits led the Falcons (12-1, 10-0 NTL), Scott Furman added 17, Zach Layag had 13 and Jared Green chipped in 11.

Hunter Stuckey paced Austin with 11 points.

Coudersport led 30-8 at the end of the first quarter and 52-17 at halftime before outscoring the Panthers 31-7 in the second half.
