BROCKWAY 44, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 40

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Juli Esposito scored 21 points and added 10 rebounds and six steals to lead No. 20 Brockway toppled No. 10 DuBois Central Catholic, 44-40, Tuesday night in Brockway.

Katlyn Cappetta added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Rovers (7-7 overall, 3-3 AML South), Kaitlyn Morelli had eight points, seven rebounds and five steals and Ashley Moore chipped in 16 rebounds, seven blocked shot and two points.

Riley Assalone paced DCC (8-6, 4-3) with 15 points.

Brockway led 21-20 at halftime and 32-31 at the end of three quarters.

SHEFFIELD – Brianna Cardoni had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead visiting Johnsonburg to a 45-30 win at Sheffield Tuesday.

Johnsonburg improved to 5-10 overall and 4-2 in the AML North, while Sheffield dropped to 1-15, 0-5.

FOREST AREA 47, WARREN COUNTY CHRISTIAN 27

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Alexis Schwas, Morgan Silvis and Mikela Bean combined for 31 points to lead visiting Forest Area to a 47-27 win over Warren County Christian Tuesday in Youngsville.

Silvis scored 11 points while hitting 5 of 10 shots from the field plus and free throw and added seven rebounds, while Schwab was 5 of 15 shooting for 10 points and Bean was 5 of 12 shooting for 10 points.

Sarah Burke added eight points and six rebounds for the Fires.

Forest led 28-14 at halftime after outscoring WCC 16-6 in the second quarter and moved the lead to 39-20 at halftime.

Forest improved to 5-8 on the year.

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Sadie Longo led four A-C Valley players in double digits with 17 points as the No. 13 Lady Falcons rolled past Clarion-Limestone 69-24 Tuesday at C-L.

Ellie Thompson added 15 points and four steals, while Morgan Cratty had 11 points and Erin Logue 10 points and five helpers.

A-C Valley is now 9-4 on the year, while C-L drops to 1-14.
