CLARION-LIMESTONE 69, UNION 50
STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Clarion-Limestone claimed its seventh straight KSAC North title with a 69-50 win over visiting Union.
The Lions, who have won eight of the last nine KSAC North crowns, got helps earlier in the night when A-C Valley beat second-place North Clarion handing the Wolves their second KSAC North loss.
With two games left – including a matchup between C-L and North Clarion Wednesday at C-L – the Lions lead the Wolves by two games. Even if C-L loses its final two contest vs. North Clarion and Forest Area and North Clarion wins its final two against C-L and Venango Catholic, the Lions win the North based on overall league record since the teams at that point would have split their regular-season series. C-L went 5-1 vs. the KSAC South while North Clarion was 3-3 vs. the KSAC South.
Deion Deas led the way for the Lions with 19 points, nine assists and two steals with Hayden Callen adding 18 points, nine rebounds, five steals and four assists.
Also for C-L, Jordan Hesdon added eight points, five steals and four assists, Curvin Goheen had eight points and five rebounds and Mitch Knepp added seven points and seven rebounds.
Union, playing without starter Karter Vogle, got 16 points from Caden Rainey and 14 from Isaac Saylor, who hit four 3-pointers, three of them during an 11-point third quarter.
A-C VALLEY 46, NORTH CLARION 30
FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Levi Orton scored 22 points and hauled down 15 rebounds to help A-C Valley spoil North Clarion’s KSAC North hopes with a 46-30 road win.

Orton scored 16 of his points after halftime to help A-C Valley expand on a 17-15 halftime. He was named the Hager Paving Player of the Game and talked about the win.
Up by just one, 17-16, early in the third quarter, A-C Valley went on a 10- run to create separation and led 32-22 at the end of the third quarter.
Eli Penny and Broc Weigle each added six points for the Falcons.
Drew Gatesman led North Clarion with 10 points with Matson Higgins scoring nine.
The loss eliminated North Clarion from the KSAC North race.

JOHNSONBURG 57, CURWENSVILLE 26
CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Behind 20 points from Gabe Watts, Johnsonburg earned a 57-26 road AML victory over Curwensville.
Austin Green had 18 points for the Rams, including three 3-pointers and three free-throws. Eric Christoff had a team-best four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points.
Trevor Lansberry had 10 points to pace the Tide offense while Ty Terry chipped in nine. Curwensville shot 10-for-12 from the free-throw line.
ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 67, SHEFFIELD 40
SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Led by 16 points from Regis Wortman, 10 different Elk County Catholic players scored to help the Crusaders shake off their first loss of the season Wednesday at DuBois with a 67-40 AML victory at Sheffield Friday.
Ben Hoffman added 10 points in the victory for ECC with Mason McAllister and Mark Kraus each scoring nine and Isaac Wortman eight.
Tyler Hepinger had a game-high 17 points to go with two blocked shots and two steals for Sheffield with Mitch McNeal adding seven points and six rebounds.
DUBOIS 56, ST. MARYS 40
DUBOIS, Pa. – Eighteen points each from Chase Husted and Nick Farrell lifted DuBois over St. Marys, 56-40.
Farrell went 8-for-8 at the charity stripe for the Beavers. Lennon Lindholm hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 12 points in the win for the Beavers.
Mitchell Reiter had 14 points in the loss for St. Marys. Cahil Parrish had eight tallies and Luke Lasko chipped in seven.
FOREST AREA 61, VENANGO CATHOLIC 55
MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Putting four players in double digits, Forest Area took care of visiting Venango Catholic, 61-55, at East Forest.
Franklin Meals led the Fires with 15 points and five assists, Allen Johnston added 12 points and four steals, Jullian Gillenwater added 11 points and Ethan McWilliams scored 10 points.
In keeping with the team-wide theme for Forest Area, Noah Burke chipped in eight points, nine rebounds and three assists, Andrew Dandon had four points and five rebounds, Jacob Eddy hauled down six rebounds and hit a free throw and Waylan Dashner brought down six boards.
Andrew Burda exploded for a career-high 34 points for Venango Catholic including 17 in the fourth quarter. Brady Cicatella added eight points and Colin Deter seven for the Vikings.
KARNS CITY 77, CRANBERRY 62
KARNS CITY, Pa. – Chase Beighley exploded for 28 points to help Karns City defeat visiting Cranberry, 77-62.
Beighley was a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line and hit five 3-pointers to lead the Gremlins offense. Nathan Waltman had 16 tallies and 12 rebounds while Caiden Corbett and Micah Rupp each added 12 points. Rupp also had eight rebounds, while Ethan McElroy added eight rebounds and seven assists.
Despite the loss, the Berries had three players in double figures. JT Stahlman paced the offense with 20 points, Cameron Russell added 16 and Matt McQuaide chipped in 11.
CLARION 58, REDBANK VALLEY 42
NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Cal German exploded for 27 points, five steals and five assists as Clarion went on the road and defeated Redbank Valley, 58-42.
Skylar Rhoades added seven points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and five steals, Hunter Craddock chipped in 13 points and nine rebounds and NickFrederick had 10 points.
Chris Marshall had a team-high 20 points to lead the Bulldogs offense. Koltin Kline had a team-best three 3-pointers and finished with 13 points.
KEYSTONE 64, MONITEAU 51
WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Marc Rearick scored eight of his game-high tying 20 points in the second quarter, as Keystone used a strong second eight minutes to creep closer to the KSAC South title with a 64-51 win at Moniteau.
The Panthers, who need to win just one of their final two KSAC South games to claim their second consecutive divisional title, led 12-10 after one quarter but behind Rearick exploded for 23 second-quarter points to take a 35-24 halftime lead.
Troy Johnson also scored 20 points for Keystone and finished off a double-double with 10 rebounds while Brandon Pierce hit three 3-pointers and chipped in 11 points.
Kyle Pry paced Moniteau with 11 points, Ethan McDeavitt scored 10, Quinton Scriven added nine and Gage Neal eight.
PENNS VALLEY 38, CLEARFIELD 29
SPRING MILLS, Pa. – Aaron Tobias netted all 11 of his points in the second half to lead Penns Valley to a 38-29 victory over Clearfield.
The game was tied 11-11 at halftime before Penns Valley outscored Clearfield 27-18 in the second half, including 18-10 in the fourth quarter.
Zach Braucht hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with nine points for the Rams while Logan Snyder chipped in six tallies.
Cade Walker grabbed seven rebounds and paced the Bison offense with 14 points in the loss.
BROOKVILLE 64, HOMER-CENTER 42
BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Turning a one-point halftime lead into a 22-point non-league win, Brookville beat visiting Homer-Center, 64-42.
The Raiders led 28-27 at halftime, then outscored the Wildcats 36-15 in the second half to get the win, including a 19-4 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Jace Miner made 10 of his 11 shots from the field and finished with 20 points while Aaron Park scored 17 points and collected nine rebounds. Jack Krug scored 13 points.
Jaden Evanick’s 14 points led Homer-Center, which also had Ryan Sardone and Jon Gearheart reach double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively.
BRADFORD 69, WELLSVILLE (N.Y.) 55
BRADFORD, Pa. – Tyler Gigliotti and Steven Knowlton combined for 41 points to lift Bradford to a 69-55 win over visiting Wellsville (N.Y.).
Gigliotti scored 22 points while adding three assists and three rebounds to lead the Owls, and Knowlton added 19 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Evan Schmidt also chipped in nine tallies and three boards for Bradford.
Max Jusianiec exploded for a game-high 31 points for Wellsville with Liam McKinley adding 16.
CAMERON COUNTY 47, KANE 39
KANE, Pa. – Behind 19 points from Caden Beldin, Cameron County left with a 47-39 victory over Kane.
Dino Brown added 12 points for the Red Raiders with Dylan Guisto and Hayden Brown each adding eight tallies.
Chad Greville and Mason Zuzek each had 11 tallies for the Wolves in the loss.
