BROOKVILLE — Clearfield Bison 6-foot-7 junior Cody Spaid turned in a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds in Clearfield’s 53-45 non-conference road game Wednesday night.
The win improved Clearfield’s perfect record to 10-0. Will Myers also scored 17 points for the Bison, who turned a 27-23 deficit at the 5:24 mark of the third quarter into a 38-34 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. They didn’t trail the rest of the way.
Tate Canavan led Brookville (6-6) with 16 points.

REDBANK VALLEY 56, KARNS CITY 47

KARNS CITY — Devin Shumaker scored 22 points while Zach Westover filled the stat sheet with 11 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots as the Redbank Valley Bulldogs stayed unbeaten in the KSAC-South with a 56-47 win over the Gremlins.

The Bulldogs improved to 10-2 overall and 6-0 in the KSAC-South.

Karns City dropped to 1-5 overall in its KSAC-South opener. Dalton Callihan scored 21 points and David Olszak finished with 19 points.
