KARNS CITY, Pa. – The Karns City football program is holding its inaugural Gremlin Gridiron 5K Run and 2-mile walk Saturday, July 2.
The race will start and finish at Graham Field in East Brady, which is the former East Brady High School football stadium. The race will run/walk on the Armstrong Trail out and back.
Race registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 8 a.m. with the race starting at 8:15 a.m. Cost is $20. All students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade get a $10 discount. Registration will be accepted the day of the race. All proceeds benefit the Karns City High School varsity football program.
There will be awards given to first, second and third place and awarded to the overall male and female runners plus in the following age groups: under age 10, 10-to-13-year olds, 14-to-19-year-olds, 20-to-29-year-olds, 30-to-39-year-olds, 40-to-49-year-olds, 50-to-59-year-olds and 60 and age.
Application and registration are available on-line with a processing fee at the Smileymiles website.
