Karns City Grad LoPresti Earns All-PSAC Second Team in Soccer

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the second straight season, Seton Hill sophomore forward Emily LoPresti, a Karns City graduate, has been named to the All-PSAC Women’s Soccer Team.

LoPresti was named as a second team selection.  The teams were announced on Thursday afternoon and were voted on by all of the league’s head coaches.  Last season, Emily was a third team selection.  The Griffins have had a player earn All-Conference honors in each of their first four years of play in the league.LoPresti did not have a sophomore slump as she again led the Griffin in scoring.  Emily had a

emily-lopresti-2-seton-hillLoPresti did not have a sophomore slump as she again led the Griffin in scoring.  Emily had a team-leading 9 goals and 19 points.  She also added an assist on the season.  LoPresti scored the game-winning goal in four of the Griffin’s seven wins.  Emily was tied for fourth in the league in goals and was ninth in points.  She finished second in the league in shots with 80.  Her four game winners tied her for third most in the PSAC.

She did not have a multi-goal game but scored the game winner in back to back games against Mansfield and Lock Haven.  Her nine goals tie the most goals scored by a Griffin in the past five seasons.  LoPresti also finished last season with 9 goals.
