KC/Moniteau, NC/PA, Bville/Kane D9 Playoff Games to be Broadcast Live on Laurel Eye Clinc Hoops Thursday

CLARION, Pa. – Three District 9 boys’ playoff games will be broadcast live on Laurel Eye Clinic Hoops Thursday including the Class 3A semifinal doubleheader from Clarion University’s Tippin Gym as well as one of the Class 1A quarterfinal games from St. Marys High School.

Action gets underway with a pair of 6 p.m. clashes as Karns City takes on Moniteau in 3A action from Tippin Gym and North Clarion squares off with Port Allegany from St. Marys High School. Then at approximately 7:30 p.m. Brookville meets Kane in a second 3A game from Tippin.

Fans can listen to the games live on exploreClarion.com or by downloading our app for Apple and Android, with the Kerle Tire Pre-Game Show starting at 5:30 p.m. The two 3A games will be available on the exploreClarion stream via the app with the 1A game on the exploreRadio stream. Mike Kalinowski, Dustin Kifer and Bob “The Governor” Dunkle will have all the calls with Chris Rossetti helping out once again on the pre- and post-game shows.

In 3A, it’s the rubber match for the second-seeded Gremlins and third-seeded Warriors who each won on their own home court during the regular season, while Kane will try to avenge a 28-point loss at Brookville earlier this season.

The 1A game is for the right to face top-seeded and unbeaten Elk County Catholic in the semifinals with the winner also earning a PIAA playoff berth.
