KARNS CITY, Pa. – Karns City junior guard Chase Beighley sits atop the District 9 boys’ basketball scoring leaderboard as of games Feb. 17.

Beighley is averaging 24.8 ppg, nearly two points more than the second-place scorer Levi Orton of A-C Valley, who comes in at 22.8 ppg. Rounding out the top five scorers in District 9 are Cal German of Clarion (21.6 ppg), Tyler Gigliotti of Bradford (20.7 ppg) and Carter Anderson of Northern Potter (20.2 ppg).
Hayden Callen of Clarion-Limestone is also averaging 20.0 ppg and sits in sixth place.
