Karns City Grad LoPresti Named PSAC Co-Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Seton Hill junior forward Emily LoPresti, a Karns City graduate, earned the PSAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Award this week sharing the honor with Jenna Hawkins of Bloomsburg.

LoPresti scored twice on the week as the Griffins went 2-0 in PSAC action. She scored the game-winning goal in each of the two contests.

She scored the lone goal in the 70th minute of the 1-0 win over IUP and scored the first goal in the 19th minute of the 3-0 win over Mansfield. Emily has scored 6 goals on the season with 5 of them being game winners. She has also added two assists.

Going into action Tuesday, Emily was tied for the PSAC lead in goals and leads the conference in game-winning goals. She was also second with 14 points. Emily led Division II in game-winning goals. Her six goals are the sixth most scored in Division II and she is tied for eighth in points.

After a 1-0 loss to Mercyhurst Tuesday, Seton hill is 5-2.
