CLARION, Pa. (D9Sports) – The KSAC will hold its annual basketball championship games Friday at Clarion University’s Tippin Gym.
The boys’ game, featuring Union and defending champion Clarion-Limestone, will tip-off at 6 p.m. followed by the girls’ game between defending champ Karns City and North Clarion, looking for its first-ever conference title, to follow at 8 p.m.
Cost for the doubleheader is $5 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens. Children under four years old get in free. No season, KSAC or District 9 passes will be accepted. All proceeds go toward KSAC Scholarships and Awards. Doors open at 5 p.m.
According to KSAC and PIAA rules anyone not wearing a shirt will not be permitted to enter the event, and anyone removing a shirt during the contests will be required to leave the contest facility. Also, the presence and/or the use of balloons, banners, noisemakers, pompons (by spectators), shakers, handheld signs, towels and whistles are prohibited.
